Elva, Zoe and Katie are back from CONUL 2017 - the Consortium of National and University Libraries. The Annual Conference was held in the Hodson Bay Hotel Athlone with a record number of delegates and was deemed a huge success.

The EHC Youth Workshop in the hip Volkshotel Amsterdam was fantastic and we are already planning to hold the workshop there again next year.

We are delighted to welcome Zoe Healy to our team. With 20 years of experience in Public Relations and Event Management, Zoe’s expertise includes developing event and communications strategies and campaign management. Zoe has worked with senior political figures, charities, large companies, small businesses, community organisations and individuals to reach their event, business and communications goals. Zoe holds a BA Degree in Politics and Sociology from University College Dublin and a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations from the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII).

We are delighted to be working with the CONUL 2017 Committee in the organisation of their Annual Conference in the Hodson Bay Hotel in Athlone.

Leah and Elva are just back from Barretstown where we hosted 23 children and their families for the weekend. The EHC Inhibitor Workshop had a variety of sessions for children,teens and their parents.

Elva travelled to Berlin for the EHC New Tech Workshop. Fifty delegates were in the city for a weekend of informative sessions.

Arbitration Ireland held their Fourth Annual Conference in the Dublin Dispute Resolution Centre on 18 November, followed by the traditional dinner in the King's Inns.

Elva, Leah and Katie were in Stavanger, Norway, last week for the EHC Annual Conference over three days. During the conference the General Assembly voted to hold the 2018 Conference in Baku, Azerbaijan. We are looking forward to working with the Azerbaijani NMO over the next couple of years. We are currently working closely with hotels and dinner venues for EHC 2017 in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The International Colloquium on Lung and Airway Fibrosis (ICLAF) welcomed 320 delegates to Dublin Castle this September where the social programme included a Welcome Reception and Dinner in the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, Irish Night in Trinity College Dublin and the Conference Dinner was held the Round Room of the Mansion House.

Elva returned safely after a long journey from the EHC Tenders and Procurement Workshop which was held in the Hyatt Regency Hotel Baku, Azerbaijan.

The UCD King John Conference was held in Dublin Castle and delegates enjoyed the wonderful weather.

We welcomed 670 delegates and over 60 exhibitors at the Fifth European Seating Symposium (ESS) held in the DoubleTree Burlington Road. The ESS has become the leading event in advancing and promoting research, education and training in the field of seating, wheeled mobility and associated technologies, in Ireland, throughout Europe and further afield.

The second EHC Leadership Conference was held in the Renaissance Hotel Brussels and attended by 100 delegates from across Europe.

BICBA 2016 Law Forum - British Irish Commerical Bar Association - took place in the Inn of Court, Bar of Northern Ireland on 21 April, followed by a stately dinner in the Parliament Buildings Stormont.

The inaugural Reliability Ireland Conference was held in the Grand Hotel Malahide and was such a success that plans to hold Reliability Ireland 2017 are now underway.

Arbitration Ireland held their Third Annual Conference in the Dublin Dispute Resolution Centre on 6 November - the conference is becoming better each year. We also travelled to London to the EHC New Technologies Workshop which was attended by members from all over Europe.

And half the office are off to Belgrade for the 28th EHC Annual Conference which is being held in the Crowne Plaza Hotel - perfect for our growing exhibition. The first EHC Leadership Conference was held in conjunction with the Annual Conference and was a huge success.

Elva was off on her travels again - this time to the EHC Tenders and Procurement Workshop in the spectacular St Petersburg. We're still waiting for the photographs!

Arbitration Ireland held their second annual conference in the Dublin Dispute Resolution Centre on 7 November, followed by a gorgeous dinner in the King's Inns.

We are all now back from Belfast after a very successful annual EHC Conference. The EHC New Technologies Workshop took place in the Royal Marine Hotel Dun Laoghaire in late November.

Niav is just back from organising the EHC Economics Workshop in Riga, Latvia. The team is busy preparing for the annual EHC conference which takes place this year in Belfast. The Conference Dinner will be held in the wonderful Titanic Exhibition Centre.

The 25th International Liquid Crystal Conference took place over 6 days in Trinity College Dublin with over 600 participants from 40 countries.

We are delighted to welcome Philip Byers on board. Philip joins Conference Organisers with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and leisure sectors.The EHC celebrated World Haemophilia Day with an excellent workshop in Frankfurt.

The first Dublin International Arbitration Day took place in the Dublin International Arbitration Centre in the Distillery Building on Church Street.
'On Friday, 22nd November 2013, at the Dublin Dispute Resolution Centre, Arbitration Ireland welcomed 85 colleagues and distinguished guests for a conference aptly named: “A Gathering of the Irish International Arbitration and Commercial Law Diaspora”. It was particularly heartening to see such a warm and positive response from colleagues who had travelled from the United Kingdom, mainland Europe and the United States to participate in the conference.'

Just back from Romania from the 26th European Haemophilia Consortium Conference which was held in the Intercontinental Hotel Bucharest. We are bringing the 27th EHC Conference to Belfast in October 2014 and preparations are already under way.

We welcomed the Comite Maritime International Symposium 2013 to the Shelbourne Hotel for a four day conference which included a spectacular Gala Dinner at the Mansion House and a Farewell Party at the Guinness Storehouse Gravity Bar with a 360 Degree view of Dublin.

It’s started and it’s going to be a year like no other……NYE Dublin Festival marked the official start of The Gathering year with 70 international journalists experiencing a taste of what’s to come at Gatherings around the country.   There are now in excess of 2,500 confirmed gatherings taking place this year!

We travelled to the Czech Republic in October for the 25th European Haemophilia Consortium Conference which was held in the Marriott Hotel Prague. The 26th EHC Conference is taking place in Bucharest in October 2013 and preparations are already under way.

Conference Organisers were delighted to welcome 200 delegates to Galway to take part in the Sino-European Symposium on Environment and Health. Many of the delegates were first time visitors from China and were very impressed with the Irish welcome.

We have had a very busy month. Over the bank holiday, 150 philosophers flew into Dublin for the Sellars Centenary Conference hosted by the School of Philosophy at UCD.
The Irish Association of Funeral Directors hosted their international association conference (FIAT-IFTA) in Dublin in mid June. Conference Organisers welcomed 200 delegates and their partners from Europe, Asia and North & South America for this four day event.
And at the end of June, the Wexford Opera House welcomed over 300 academics for the 17th International Nitrogen Workshop which was hosted by Teagasc.
A total of 31 oral papers and 196 poster papers were presented at the workshop from 804 authors in 31 countries across 4 continents.

Niav is just back from a site visit in Prague as part of our role as core PCO for the European Haemophilia Consortium.

We are just back from Madrid where we organised the Open Society Foundations Workshop. Delegates flew in from the US, Africa and Europe to attend this workshop and breakout sessions over two days.

The Deep Brain Stimulation Conference took place in Croke Park at the beginning of the month. Conference Organisers welcomed society members to Dublin for the Medical Image Perception Society XIV Meeting which was held at the Morrisson Hotel. This sucessful event was hosted by Dr Mark Mc Entee from the University of Sydney, Australia.

We are delighted to have been chosen to work with the Pancreatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland to provide on-line registration facilities and on-site management for their society meeting December 2011 at the Royal Marine Hotel, Dublin. It is being organised by Professor Kevin Conlon 2011 President of the PSGB&I.

We are delighted to have been chosen to work with the organising committee of the Sino-European Symposium on Environment and Health - SESEH 2012 Conference, which will take place in the National University of Ireland, Galway, from 20 - 25 August, 2012. The symposium provides an opportunity for a direct communication between experts from China and the rest of the world, and helps to foster and develop international collaborations with China, the 2nd largest economy of the world.

Conference Organisers have been chosen to work with Teagasc on the 17th International NitrogeN Workshop, which will take place in Wexford in June of 2012. We are excited at the prospects of organising this event and making full use of the wonderful produce and opportunities that are on offer in the South-East.

October 2010: European Haemophilia Consortium Annual Conference - Prague 2012
The EHC are hosting their annual conference in Prague in 2012 and Conference Organisers are happy to announce their appointment as official core PCO from 2012. The EHC Annual Conference 2011 is being held in Budapest.
