CASE STUDY

Conference Organisers planned and implemented the Digital Summit 2019 in the Conference Centre Dublin (CCD) on 20th September on behalf of our client, the Department of the Taoiseach, in conjunction with the Government Data Forum. The Conference explored some of the most fundamental issues connected with digital transformation and will had the following objectives:

  • Build on Ireland’s reputation as a thought leader in the field of data and digitally-related developments

  • Promote the Digital Summit as an occasion to advance the debate on how to ensure digital technology delivers benefits for the greatest number of people whilst protecting fundamental rights

  • Obtain adequate representation amongst attendees so that a diversity of viewpoints is represented.

  • Deliver a professionally-run event which enhances the prestige of the Irish Government at home and abroad

The Digital Summit was supported by the following partners: Facebook, Google, Microsoft, IDA Ireland, LinkedIn, Arthur Cox, Pinsent Masons, William Fry and Science Foundation Ireland (SFI).

Exhibition
Twelve organisations took part in the exhibition. The exhibitors were global companies, Irish start-ups, educational institutions and not-for-profits. As part of our agreement with the client we contacted the exhibitors and sponsors and discussed in detail their goals and expectations. Our Sponsorship and Exhibition Manager was then tasked with ensuring their objectives were met satisfactorily. To further support them we also served all refreshments and lunch in the exhibition area, thus maximising their engagement opportunities.
